Metro-Cross is this weird, fast-paced NES game where you're basically stuck in a neon obstacle course that feels like a fever dream. You play as some dude in a futuristic game show, sprinting down these endless, twisting tracks while dodging rolling barrels, sudden drops, and these annoying bouncing balls that come out of nowhere.
The controls are simple—just run and jump—but the speed ramps up fast, and before long you're flailing through loops and zigzags like a maniac. The music’s got this weirdly catchy synth beat that somehow makes the chaos even more intense. I kept crashing into stuff at first, but once you get the rhythm down, it’s weirdly satisfying to nail a perfect run.
It’s one of those games where you’ll either love the challenge or throw your controller after the third wipeout. Either way, it’s hard to put down once you start.
