Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom (unl) Game

Okay, so this is the NES version of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and it’s… well, it’s exactly as janky and weird as you’d expect from an 8-bit movie tie-in. You’ve got Indy swinging his whip at snakes, dodging boulders (of course), and jumping across pits that feel just a little too wide. The hit detection is kinda iffy, but that’s part of the charm.
There are four different level types—some are side-scrolling action, others switch to this weird top-down view where you’re tossing rocks at cultists. The mine cart level? Absolute chaos, but in a way that makes you laugh when you die for the tenth time. It’s not the smoothest game, but if you grew up with the movie, there’s something weirdly satisfying about seeing it in pixel form.
Just don’t expect it to play fair—this is classic NES difficulty, where every pit feels like a trap and enemies respawn the second you turn your back.
