Bomberman 64 was one of those games that tricked you into thinking it was just about blowing stuff up—until you realized there was actual strategy involved. The jump to 3D felt weird at first, but once you got used to tossing bombs around corners and timing explosions to clear paths, it clicked. Some of those later puzzles? Brutal. And don’t even get me started on the multiplayer chaos—four players, one screen, and way too many power-ups.
It’s got that classic Bomberman charm, but with enough twists (like the weirdly satisfying bomb-kicking mechanic) to keep it fresh. Just watch out for those hidden warp zones—some of them are sneaky as hell.
