Ah, Bomber Man on the NES—simple, chaotic, and way more strategic than it looks at first glance. You start off slow, just dropping little bombs to clear blocks and take out those dopey balloon enemies, but then the power-ups start appearing. Suddenly you're laying down three bombs at once, blasting through half the screen, and accidentally trapping yourself in a corner because you misjudged the explosion radius (we've all been there).
The mazes get trickier, with teleporters and indestructible blocks forcing you to actually think instead of just spamming bombs. And if you've got a friend around for 2-player? Pure anarchy. Nothing like watching them panic when you box them in with a well-placed bomb. It's one of those games where "just one more level" turns into an hour without you noticing.
Still holds up today, especially if you're into that old-school "figure it out as you go" vibe.
