Okay, so Legend of Cornell is this weird, kinda janky N64 Castlevania spin-off where you play as a werewolf dude trying to save his sister. It’s got that classic late-90s 3D vibe—awkward camera angles, blocky textures, the works—but there’s something oddly charming about it.
Combat’s the main draw here. You can switch between human and werewolf forms on the fly, which changes up your moveset. Human Cornell’s got this whip (very Belmont of him), but wolf mode turns you into a claw-swinging beast. It’s clunky, sure, but satisfying when you pull off a combo while mid-air over some zombie.
Levels are these moody, gothic corridors with a few hidden paths—typical Castlevania stuff, just in 3D. The music’s decent, too, if you’re into that era’s synth-orchestral sound. Not the best in the series, but if you’re a hardcore fan or just love weird N64 experiments, it’s worth a look. Just don’t expect Symphony of the Night.
