Okay, so A Bug's Life on N64 is way better than it has any right to be. You play as Flik, this awkward little ant who somehow ends up leading a revolution against the grasshoppers. The first thing you'll notice is how colorful everything is—it really nails that Pixar look, even on the N64's chunky graphics.
Gameplay's a mix of platforming and light puzzles, like rolling dung balls (gross, but fun) or building bridges with twigs. Some levels have you sneaking past grasshopper guards, others are straight-up boss fights. The controls take a minute to get used to—Flik's jump feels floaty at first—but once it clicks, you'll be bouncing between leaves and acorns like a pro.
Honestly, it's one of those licensed games that actually gets the movie's vibe right. You even recruit circus bugs to help out, just like in the film. If you're into late-90s platformers with charm, this one's a solid pick.
