Man, Worms On GB takes me back—those chunky pixels, the satisfying *blip* of the Game Boy sound effects, and the absolute chaos of watching a Holy Hand Grenade wipe out half your worm team. It’s the same turn-based madness you remember, just squeezed onto that tiny screen. You’ll spend way too long lining up the perfect bazooka shot, only to have the wind mess it up last second.
The weapons are ridiculous (who thought sheep explosives were a good idea?), and the maps are small but surprisingly tactical. I kept forgetting how brutal the ninja rope physics are on this version—swing wrong, and you’re face-first in water. Still, there’s something weirdly satisfying about outsmarting your friends with a well-placed banana bomb.
If you’ve got a Game Boy and a competitive streak, this one’s a blast—just don’t throw it when your last worm misses a shotgun shot.
