Okay, so Wiz'n'Liz is this weird little Genesis gem where you play as two wizards sprinting through candy-colored worlds to save rabbits—except they call them "wabbits" because of course they do. The whole thing feels like someone mixed a platformer with a fever dream. One minute you're hopping over giant mushrooms, the next you're getting chased by bouncing pumpkins or dodging raindrops that turn into enemies if you touch them.
What really sticks with me is how chaotic it gets. You’re constantly juggling magic spells (hold down the button to charge, release to unleash—took me a level to figure that out) while trying not to faceplant into hazards. And the wabbits? They just kinda… float away if you don’t grab them fast enough. It’s equal parts adorable and stressful.
Honestly, the music alone is worth booting it up—super upbeat chiptune tracks that stick in your head for days. Just don’t expect a chill time. This game wants you to move fast, mess up, and laugh when Liz faceplants into a wall for the tenth time. It’s a weird, wonderful little time capsule.
