Wiz'n'Liz is one of those weird, charming Genesis games that feels like it was made by someone who had too much coffee and a love for puns. You play as two wizards—Wiz and Liz, obviously—trying to rescue their runaway magical rabbits across these bright, chaotic levels. It's part platformer, part collect-a-thon, with a dash of puzzle-solving when you're not frantically chasing those hyperactive bunnies.
The magic system is the real hook—you mix ingredients to cast spells, and half the fun is seeing what weird combos actually work. Some turn enemies into fruit (which you then eat, because why not), others just explode everything on screen. The controls are simple, but the pacing is frantic in the best way—like someone took a Saturday morning cartoon and turned it into a game.
It’s got that early '90s Sega vibe—colorful, a little janky, and totally unapologetic about how silly it is. If you missed this one back in the day, it’s worth a look just for the sheer energy of it.
