Volfied on the Genesis is one of those weird, tense arcade ports that somehow gets its hooks in you. You're this little ship flying around, drawing lines to claim chunks of the screen while these creepy blob enemies chase you down. Mess up your path or hesitate too long, and suddenly you're cornered—game over.
What I love is how it starts simple, then throws curveballs. Some levels have these indestructible diamond enemies that just won't quit, others make you work around moving obstacles. The music's got that classic Sega synth vibe too—all bleeps and urgency that really amps up the panic when you're down to your last life.
It's the kind of game where you'll fail a level five times, walk away frustrated, then catch yourself thinking about better routes an hour later. Definitely worth a shot if you like old-school arcade games with a puzzle twist.
