So, Toy Story on the Sega Genesis—yeah, it’s exactly what it sounds like. You play as Woody, Buzz, and sometimes even RC, running through levels that feel like they ripped scenes straight from the movie. The first level throws you right into Andy’s room, jumping over toy soldiers and dodging that creepy spider baby thing. The controls are a little stiff, but once you get used to it, pulling off Buzz’s jetpack boost feels weirdly satisfying.
Graphics are decent for the time, with bright colors and chunky sprites that actually look like the characters. The soundtrack? Pure nostalgia—those MIDI versions of "You’ve Got a Friend in Me" will stick in your head for days. It’s not the deepest game, but if you grew up with the movie, it’s a fun little trip back to 1995.
