Okay, so Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow on GBA is way more impressive than it has any right to be. You're still playing as Sam Fisher, creeping through shadows and snapping necks, but somehow they made the stealth mechanics work on this tiny screen. The lighting effects—where you actually have to stay in the dark to avoid being spotted—feel surprisingly tense even with the hardware limits.

First mission drops you in some embassy at night, and I remember thinking "how is this gonna control?" But the devs nailed it—crouch-walking past guards, using thermal vision to spot lasers, all that good spy stuff. The hacking minigames are a nice break from the tension, even if they're basically just matching symbols.

Biggest surprise? The story holds up. It's not just some throwaway GBA adaptation—you get proper cutscenes between missions, and the whole bioterrorism plot actually makes you want to keep playing. Just don't expect multiplayer like the console version had.

If you ever played the original on Xbox, this is a shockingly faithful pocket-sized version.
