Okay, so this GBA Spider-Man game is way more fun than it has any right to be. You start off swinging between these tiny pixelated skyscrapers, and yeah, the controls take a minute to get used to—hold R to swing, tap it to shoot webs—but once it clicks, you're zipping around like you own the place.

The combat's simple but satisfying—punch, kick, web-shot—though some enemies will absolutely wreck you if you just button-mash. Pro tip: web them up first, then go to town. And the boss fights? Classic Spidey villains, each with patterns you gotta learn (that first Doc Ock fight had me sweating).

What surprised me was how much they packed into this little cartridge. There's actual wall-crawling, stealth sections where you sneak past guards, even these weird first-person web-shooting minigames. It's janky in that early 2000s handheld way, but man, it nails the feeling of being Spider-Man better than some modern games.

Just don't expect the open world from the console versions—this is pure arcade-y, mission-based action. Perfect for quick plays between classes or bus rides.
