Okay, so The Legend of Zelda - Omega on SNES is basically a love letter to classic Zelda fans—but with some sneaky twists. You start off in familiar territory: Link, a sword, and a whole lot of suspiciously quiet bushes. But then the dungeons start throwing curveballs—like enemies that don’t behave the way you remember, or hidden paths that weren’t there in the original.
The overworld feels bigger, too. I kept stumbling into little nooks with weird NPCs who say cryptic stuff, and half the time I wasn’t sure if they were hinting at a secret or just messing with me. The puzzles? Some are brutal in the best way. There’s one where you have to bomb a wall that looks exactly like every other wall, and I may or may not have rage-quit before figuring it out.
If you’ve played A Link to the Past, you’ll recognize the vibe, but Omega isn’t just a clone—it’s like someone remixed your favorite song and added a bunch of new verses. Just don’t expect the Master Sword to solve all your problems this time.
