Okay, so Tetris 2 isn’t just regular Tetris—it’s got this weird color-matching twist that throws you off at first. Instead of just clearing lines, you’re stacking blocks of the same color to make them disappear. Sounds simple, but when those pastel pinks and blues start piling up, it gets chaotic fast.
The controls are classic NES—d-pad to move, Z and X to rotate—but the real challenge is figuring out which colors to prioritize before the screen fills up. I kept forgetting and stacking the wrong shades, which… yeah, didn’t end well. The music’s oddly cheerful for how stressful it gets.
It’s one of those sequels that changes just enough to mess with your muscle memory. You’ll either hate it or low-key love the chaos.
