Teddy Boy Blues (seganet) Game

Man, Teddy Boy Blues is such a weird little Genesis game—in the best way. You control this teddy bear with a gun (because why not?) blasting through these surreal, pastel-colored levels full of bouncing... things. I still don’t know what half the enemies are supposed to be, but they’ve got this offbeat charm that makes it feel like playing a Saturday morning cartoon from another dimension.
The controls take a second to click—your shots arc, and the jumping feels floaty at first—but once it clicks, you’ll be bouncing between platforms and picking off enemies with this oddly satisfying rhythm. And that soundtrack? Pure early ‘90s Sega cheese, all synthy and upbeat. It’s janky, colorful, and just the right amount of frustrating when you misjudge a jump.
If you’re into obscure retro stuff or just want something different from the usual platformers, this one’s worth dusting off. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand.
