Superman – The Man Of Steel Game

Remember that old-school Superman game on the Sega Genesis? The one where you could actually fly around Metropolis like a boss? Yeah, this is that one. You start off hovering over the city skyline—which looked amazing for its time—before diving straight into punching robots, rescuing civilians, and dealing with Lex Luthor’s nonsense.
Controls take a second to get used to (why does heat vision feel so awkward?), but once you figure out the timing for super-speed punches, it’s weirdly satisfying. The levels mix side-scrolling brawling with some light puzzle-solving—like, of course Superman has to gently carry a bomb into space before it explodes. Classic.
It’s not perfect (those sewer levels drag a bit), but the sheer joy of flying through buildings and hearing that iconic theme makes up for it. If you grew up with a Genesis, this was probably your first real taste of feeling like the Man of Steel. Just don’t expect Arkham-level combat.
