About Star Soldier
Star Soldier came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986, developed by Hudson Soft. It was part of that wave of early NES shooters where the focus was on straightforward, challenging action rather than complex stories. You just powered on the console and jumped into the fight.
You pilot a small, nimble spacecraft viewed from above, scrolling vertically through waves of enemy ships and intricate barriers. Your main goal is to survive each stage, destroy everything in your path, and confront the boss waiting at the end.
