Spiritual Warfare is this weird little NES game that feels like someone took Zelda and gave it a Sunday school makeover. You play as this guy named Christian (subtle, right?) running around slinging fruit of the Spirit at demons and converting random NPCs. The first ten minutes are pure 8-bit absurdity - you're chucking apples at possessed mailboxes while some midi hymn plays in the background.

Combat's janky but kinda charming once you get used to it. Turns out "love" and "joy" make decent projectile weapons against the forces of darkness. The dungeons are basically church basements with way too many snakes, and yeah, you do eventually fight Satan himself in the final showdown. It's exactly as ridiculous as it sounds, but there's something oddly compelling about the whole thing.

Definitely one of those "you had to be there in the 90s Christian gaming scene" experiences.
