Okay, so Robot Battler is one of those weird, obscure SegaNet Japan exclusives—basically a turn-based mech fighter with a surprising amount of customization. You pick your bot (the heavy one’s slow but hits like a truck), slap on some weapons, and then it’s just you and some other robot in a tiny arena trading blows.
It’s got that early ‘90s Sega vibe—blocky sprites, crunchy sound effects, and menus that take forever to navigate if you don’t read Japanese. The cool part? You can tweak your robot’s loadout between fights, swapping out missile pods for flamethrowers or whatever. I kept getting wrecked until I figured out that dodging actually matters more than armor.
Not gonna lie, it’s janky, but there’s something satisfying about watching your clunky mech finally land a haymaker after three missed shots. The AI cheats sometimes, though.
