About Raging Fighter (usa, Europe)
Raging Fighter came out in 1993 for the Game Boy, developed and published by Konami. It was part of that wave of portable fighting games trying to capture the arcade feel on a small screen, a common goal for the platform at the time.
You pick a fighter and battle through a series of one-on-one matches. Your main goal is to defeat all the other combatants to become the champion. The controls are simple, with a punch, a kick, and special moves executed with directional inputs. The fighting happens on a single screen, and you win by depleting your opponent's life bar before they deplete yours. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, especially against later opponents who block and counter frequently. It feels like a quick, aggressive test of your timing and reflexes.
