Pin Bot on NES is one of those weirdly addictive pinball games where you're basically touring the solar system—starting at Pluto, because of course you do. The goal? Knock down three drop targets fast to warp to the next planet, and each jump scores you a sweet 20K bonus. The real star is that creepy robot face in the middle of the table. Light up the grid in front of him, and his visor flips up like some retro sci-fi nightmare. Get balls into both eye sockets, and he’ll deadpan, "Now I see you," before launching a chaotic multiball. It’s equal parts satisfying and slightly unsettling.
Honestly, the physics feel a little stiff compared to modern pinball sims, but there’s something charming about how janky and straightforward it is. You’ll probably spend half your time just trying to keep the ball from draining straight down the middle.
