Ever played a game where you're literally a blob of angry goo? Ooze on the Genesis is exactly that—you play as Dr. Caine, a scientist who got turned into this weird, slimy creature and now slithers around labs and sewers, dissolving enemies and solving puzzles. It's kind of like if Flubber went full revenge horror.
The controls take a second to get used to—you stretch and squish around, sticking to walls and ceilings, which feels janky at first but weirdly satisfying once it clicks. The levels are these maze-like labs with traps and switches, and half the challenge is just figuring out how to ooze your way through tiny gaps. Not gonna lie, some of the later stages get brutal with the enemy spam.
It’s got that classic '90s vibe—moody music, creepy sound effects, and a plot that’s basically "science gone wrong" with extra slime. If you’re into weird, experimental Genesis games, this one’s a trip.
