Metal Mech came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, published by Jaleco. It was one of many action games from that period trying to do something a bit different with the hardware, putting you in control of a large robot instead of a typical soldier or hero.

You pilot the MetalMech vehicle, which resembles the ED-209 from RoboCop. You can move left or right across the screen and fire in almost any direction except straight down.
