Megalit Game

Megalit is one of those weird little Game Boy games that somehow sticks with you. At first glance, it's just another pixelated adventure, but there's something oddly satisfying about the way it plays—like the devs crammed in more thought than you'd expect from a cartridge this old.
You start off in this blocky world where everything moves in a rigid grid, almost like a puzzle game pretending to be an action RPG. The controls take a minute to click (no diagonal movement, because of course), but once they do, you start noticing how clever the level design is. Hidden switches, enemies that force you to think before mashing buttons, and these weirdly charming chiptune tracks that get stuck in your head.
It's not perfect—some of the later levels feel like they were designed by a sadist—but that's part of the charm. If you've got a soft spot for games that don't hold your hand, this one's worth dusting off the old Game Boy for.
