Low G Man is one of those NES games that feels a little weird at first—your guy Kal jumps like he's on the moon, floating way higher than you'd expect. At first, I kept overshooting platforms because I wasn't used to the gravity (or lack of it). But once you get the hang of it, bouncing around blasting robots becomes oddly satisfying.
The whole thing plays like a mix of Mega Man and a space rescue mission—you're grabbing hostages while dodging these mechanical enemies that don't make it easy. Some of the level designs get pretty creative with the low-gravity gimmick, forcing you to time those floaty jumps just right. The later stages get brutal, though—bring some patience.
It's not the most polished NES action game out there, but there's something charming about the janky physics and weird robot designs. Definitely a cult favorite for a reason.
