I picked up Keep The Balance for the Game Boy Color back when it was new, a small release from a developer whose name I can't quite recall now. It was one of those many puzzle games that filled the handheld's library, a simple concept built for short bursts of play. You don't hear much about it these days, but it had its own quiet place on the system.

You control a small character whose only job is to keep a stack of blocks from toppling over. The main objective is to carefully remove blocks from the bottom of a wobbly tower and place them on top, all without causing a collapse. The core mechanics involve tapping buttons to nudge blocks out and then timing your placement as the whole structure sways. The game gets progressively harder as the tower grows taller and more unstable, demanding a lot of patience and a steady hand. It feels like a constant, gentle battle against physics itself.
