Batman Beyond Game

Batman Beyond on Game Boy Color nails that futuristic Gotham vibe—you're Terry McGinnis, swinging between neon-lit skyscrapers with a jet-powered cape that actually feels fun to control. The first thing you’ll notice? The soundtrack’s got that synth-heavy tone straight out of the show, and the sprite work’s surprisingly slick for a GBC title.
Combat’s simple but satisfying—you’ve got your standard punches, a decent jump kick, and those sweet, sweet batarangs. The gadgets are where it shines though. There’s this cloaking device that drains your energy bar way too fast, but sneaking past thugs with it never gets old. Boss fights are total callbacks to the series, like that time I got wrecked by Inque because I kept forgetting her weak spot.
It’s not perfect—some of the platforming’s janky, and the later levels get repetitive—but if you grew up with the cartoon, it’s pure nostalgia fuel. You’ll probably blast through it in an afternoon, but hey, sometimes that’s all you need.
