Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom on NES is one of those classic movie tie-ins that somehow nails the chaotic energy of the film—mostly by throwing way too much at you at once. You’ll dodge boulders, swing over pits, and punch cultists while the soundtrack blares that iconic theme. The lava sections? Brutal. One wrong jump and you’re toast, but nailing the timing feels great.
Controls are straightforward—Z and X for whipping and jumping, arrows to move—but the real challenge is figuring out where to go next. Some levels feel like mazes, and good luck finding all the artifacts without a guide. If you dig this kind of old-school, trial-and-death platforming, Metal Slug’s run-and-gun chaos might be up your alley too.
Just don’t expect it to hold your hand. This is pure ’80s NES difficulty.
