George Foreman's KO Boxing on NES is one of those old-school boxing games that actually makes you feel like you're in the ring—well, as much as an 8-bit game can. You play as Big George himself, working your way through 15 fights to reclaim the heavyweight title. The first thing you'll notice? Those little mugshots in the corner that get more busted up as the fight goes on—your guy starts fresh-faced, but by round three, he's got a black eye and a bloody lip. Brutal.

The controls are simple—jab, hook, block—but timing is everything. You can't just button-mash your way to victory. Wait for an opening, slip past their guard, and land that one clean shot to send them stumbling. The later fights get seriously tough, especially when you're up against the champ. If you pull it off though, watching Foreman raise that belt feels weirdly satisfying for a pixelated victory.

It's not the deepest boxing sim out there, but for an NES game, it nails the tension of a real fight. Just don't throw your controller when the AI suddenly dodges your best combo.
