Final Fantasy V Advance is one of those RPGs that just sticks with you—especially if you love tinkering with character builds. The job system is the real star here: you start off with basic classes like Knight and Black Mage, but before long, you're mixing abilities to create ridiculous combos (who knew a Ninja with White Magic could be so busted?).
The story’s got that classic Final Fantasy vibe—crystals, airships, a goofy pirate with a heart of gold—but it’s the gameplay that hooks you. Early on, you’ll hit a wind shrine, get wrecked by a dragon, and realize you probably should’ve leveled your Blue Mage. Lessons learned.
And yeah, the GBA port adds some nice extras, like extra dungeons and jobs. Just don’t blame me when you lose an entire afternoon grinding Freelancers to max out their stats.
