Final Fantasy VI Advance is one of those classic JRPGs that still holds up today—even on the tiny GBA screen. You start off with Terra, a girl with mysterious powers, and before long, you're recruiting a whole crew of misfits, from rebellious kings to ninjas who won’t shut up about their dad. Kefka’s the villain here, and he’s not your usual "I’ll destroy the world because reasons" type—he’s gleefully unhinged, laughing while burning cities down.
The magicite system lets you customize your party in weird ways (I made Edgar a magic tank once, just because), and the soundtrack? Absolute fire, even in this portable version. The GBA port adds some extra dungeons, though the colors are a little washed out compared to the SNES original. Still, if you want one of the best RPG stories ever on the go, this is it.
