Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle is one of those NES games that looks simple at first—until you realize you can't even jump. Yeah, for some reason, Bugs is stuck walking left and right while Sylvester, Daffy, and the rest of the Looney Tunes gang try to ruin his day. Your job? Sneak around them, grab all the carrots, and rescue Honey Bunny.
The levels are these weird little mazes where you’ve gotta figure out the right path, since brute-forcing it won’t work. Sometimes you’ll find a boxing glove to punch a cat off-screen or an invisibility potion to slip past Yosemite Sam. It’s more about timing and route planning than reflexes, which makes it feel like a puzzle game disguised as a platformer.
And thank goodness for passwords—there are 80 levels, and no way you’re finishing that in one go. Some of the later stages get downright cruel with enemy placements, but hey, that’s the charm of old-school NES difficulty. If you like figuring things out more than just running and jumping, this one’s a weird little gem.
