Ah, the original NES Bomberman—classic stuff. You're just this little dude in a maze, dropping bombs to blow up walls and enemies. No multiplayer here (that came later), but the single-player is weirdly addictive once you get the hang of dodging your own explosions. The first few levels ease you in, but then those one-eyed balloon enemies start showing up in tricky spots, and suddenly you're frantically trying to remember if you picked up the remote detonator power-up or not.
It's got that perfect "one more try" energy when you barely lose to some dumb enemy that cornered you. The music's simple but catchy, too—you'll be humming it after a while. Definitely shows its age, but there's a reason people still remember this one.
