Big Nose the Caveman is one of those weirdly charming NES platformers where you play as, well, a caveman with a comically huge nose. You’re hopping between islands, smacking dinosaurs and other prehistoric nuisances with your trusty club—honestly, the hit detection’s a little janky, but you get used to it.
Bones are scattered everywhere, and grabbing them feels oddly satisfying even though I’m still not entirely sure what they do. The levels are short but packed with hidden spots, and some of the jumps require weirdly precise timing. It’s got that classic "Nintendo hard" vibe where you’ll die a lot at first, but somehow, you keep going back for more.
Also, the music’s surprisingly catchy for a Codemasters game. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand.
