Andre Agassi Tennis on the Genesis is one of those early '90s sports games that somehow nails the chaotic energy of tennis without taking itself too seriously. The controls are simple—just a button for swings and some basic movement—but matches get surprisingly intense once you figure out the timing. The ball physics are a little floaty, and yeah, Agassi’s sprite looks like he’s permanently mid-scream, but there’s a weird charm to it.

You’ve got a few court surfaces to pick from, and the difference in ball bounce actually matters (clay slows things down, hardcourt is fast).
