Yaka Sekaishi Game

Yaka Sekaishi is one of those Game Boy games that feels like it got lost in time—in a good way. You start off in this weird little pixel world where everything looks simple until you realize the puzzles are actually kinda devious. The first few screens trick you into thinking it's just another cute platformer, but then you hit a room where you're juggling switches, dodging enemies, and trying not to get squished by moving blocks. Classic Game Boy chaos.
What I love is how it doesn’t hold your hand. No tutorials, no arrows pointing where to go—just you and your instincts figuring out how to progress. The music’s got that crunchy, nostalgic chip-tune vibe, and the sprites have way more personality than they should for something this old. If you’ve got a soft spot for games that make you stop and think (or throw your Game Boy across the room in frustration), this one’s a hidden gem.
