Worms Armageddon on Game Boy Color is pure chaotic fun—same ridiculous turn-based warfare as the PC version, just shrunk down for on-the-go mayhem. You pick a team of worms (I always go for the Scottish ones, no idea why), then take turns lobbing holy hand grenades, banana bombs, and yes, even explosive sheep at the other team. The terrain crumbles under every shot, so half the strategy is just not falling into the water yourself.
It’s got that classic Worms humor—over-the-top voice lines, silly weapons, and matches that can flip in seconds because someone landed a lucky bazooka shot. The GBC version obviously doesn’t have the same visual punch as the original, but it’s impressive how much of the chaos they crammed into that tiny cartridge. If you’ve got a buddy with a link cable, the multiplayer is an absolute riot.
Just watch out for the ninja rope—it’s way harder to control on this version.
