Okay, so The Lawnmower Man on SNES is... weird in the best way. You start off in this trippy virtual world that looks like someone fed a bunch of neon and polygons into a blender. The controls take a second to click—your guy moves kinda floaty, like he's half-human, half-digital ghost.
First level throws you into this maze of glowing grids while drones try to zap you. I kept getting turned around at first because everything looks the same, but then you notice the subtle color shifts pointing you toward exits. The soundtrack? All eerie synths and distorted voices that make it feel like your console might start glitching any second.
It’s not just shooting—you’ll hit puzzles where you rearrange floating blocks or outrun expanding walls that want to crush you into pixels. Sometimes it feels unfair, but when you finally beat a level, it’s pure "I outsmarted the simulation" satisfaction. Definitely one of those games where you either rage-quit or get weirdly obsessed.
