Okay, so Tetris 2 on Game Boy—it’s not quite the original Tetris, but it’s got this weird charm. Instead of just clearing lines, you’re matching colors to make blocks disappear. Took me a minute to adjust because my brain kept defaulting to classic Tetris mode.
The blocks fall slower, which feels weird at first, but it gives you more time to plan. There’s also this annoying "junk block" mechanic where garbage piles up if you’re not careful. I lost a few rounds before realizing I couldn’t just brute-force my way through like in the original.
Honestly? It’s a solid puzzle game if you’re into that slightly offbeat Tetris vibe. Just don’t go in expecting the same lightning-fast pace. The music’s still a banger, though.
