Alright, so Super Luigi Bros on SNES is basically what happens when Luigi finally gets his moment—no more living in Mario’s shadow. You’re still rescuing Peach (because Bowser never learns), but this time everything feels just a little… floatier. Luigi’s jump is weirdly high and slippery, which takes some getting used to, but once you adjust, it’s kind of fun bouncing off Goombas like a green spring.
The levels are familiar but remixed—same Mushroom Kingdom vibes, but with extra hidden blocks and a few sneaky shortcuts. The music’s still that classic SNES chirpiness, though I swear the underground theme sounds slightly different? Maybe it’s just me. And yeah, you’ll still grab fire flowers and stomp Koopas, but there’s something satisfying about doing it in Luigi’s weird, flailing way.
It’s not a full-blown sequel, more like a fun alternate take—like playing the original game but someone tilted the screen slightly. If you’ve burned through Super Mario World too many times, this is a solid way to mix it up.
