Raging Fighter on Game Boy is one of those old-school brawlers that looks simple at first—until you realize how much it actually demands from you. You pick your fighter (I always went with the boxer, even though his reach is terrible), and suddenly you're in this tiny pixelated ring, trading jabs with opponents who actually dodge and counter. The controls are tight, but don't expect flashy combos—every punch and kick feels deliberate.
What surprised me was how different each fighter plays. The wrestler’s grapples are brutal if you can get close, but good luck against the karate guy who just spams high kicks. And yeah, the AI cheats sometimes—no shame in using the pause trick to catch your breath mid-fight. It’s got that classic Game Boy charm where the music loops endlessly and the sprites flicker, but somehow that just adds to the tension. You’ll either love it or throw your Game Boy across the room. No in-between.
