Predator on NES is one of those licensed games that somehow makes you feel like you're actually in the movie—if the movie was a side-scrolling action mess with questionable hit detection. You play as Arnold Schwarzenegger's character (sort of) blasting through jungles, dodging traps, and occasionally fighting the Predator itself. The controls are stiff, but once you get used to them, it's weirdly satisfying in that old-school "why am I still playing this?" way.
First thing you'll notice? The music. It's got this weirdly intense synth track that somehow works. Then you realize your bullets disappear after like three feet, so you end up just running up to enemies and mashing the attack button. Classic NES jank, but hey, at least the sprite for the Predator looks kinda cool when it finally shows up.
Pro tip: Save your grenades for the bigger enemies. You'll thank me later.
