About Peter Pan & The Pirates
Peter Pan & The Pirates came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, developed by Equilibrium. It was one of many licensed games from that era, a side-scrolling adventure that tried to capture the spirit of the story on the NES hardware.
You control Peter Pan, moving through levels screen by screen. Your main goal is to clear each area of all the pirates before you can move on, eventually making your way to Captain Hook's ship for a final confrontation. You have a sword for close combat, though its range is very short, and you can collect bags of fairy dust to gain the ability to fly for a limited time. The game is known for its challenging difficulty and sometimes frustrating enemy placement. Playing it feels like a constant test of patience and precision.
