Okay, so this is one of those NES horror games that sounds cooler than it actually is. You play as one of four teens trying to stop Freddy Krueger by gathering his bones—which, sure, makes sense for the movies, but in practice means running through weirdly bright dream worlds smashing pots and jumping on platforms. The weirdest part? You can actually fall asleep mid-level if your "sleep meter" runs out, forcing you into this awkward mini-game to wake back up.
It's got that classic NES jank—hit detection is iffy, some enemies just materialize out of nowhere, and good luck figuring out where to go without trial and error. But hey, playing co-op with a friend makes it way more fun, even if you'll probably argue over who gets stuck with the weaker character. The music's surprisingly catchy though, in that 8-bit horror way.
Honestly, it's more nostalgic than actually good, but if you're into retro horror games, it's a weird little time capsule.
