Navy Seals on Game Boy is one of those old-school side-scrollers where you play as a lone soldier blasting through enemy territory. It’s got that classic run-and-gun feel—you start with a basic pistol, but you’ll grab shotguns and grenades along the way, which helps when waves of enemies pour in from both sides.
The controls are simple (jump, shoot, duck), but some of the platforming can be weirdly precise, especially when you’re trying not to fall into pits. And yeah, the music is that crunchy Game Boy chiptune stuff—nostalgic if you’re into it, grating if you’re not.
It’s short, tough, and very much a product of its time. Not the deepest game, but decent for a quick dose of retro action. You’ll probably beat it in one sitting if you don’t get stuck on the later levels.
