Nadia Game

Nadia on the NES is one of those weird, obscure titles that somehow slipped under the radar back in the day. It’s based on the anime The Secret of Blue Water, but don’t expect a deep story—this is pure side-scrolling action with some clunky but charming platforming.
You play as Nadia, jumping between floating islands, dodging enemies, and collecting gems that… honestly, I’m still not sure what they do. The controls take a second to get used to—her jumps feel a little floaty—but once you adjust, it’s got that classic NES challenge. Just don’t be surprised if you die a few times figuring out the hitboxes.
It’s not a masterpiece, but if you’re into retro curiosities, it’s got enough personality to be worth a look.
