Moguranya is one of those weird little Game Boy gems that never left Japan—which is a shame, because it’s oddly charming. You play as a mole digging through dirt, collecting veggies while avoiding rocks and enemies. The controls take a second to get used to (digging diagonally feels weird at first), but once it clicks, it’s weirdly satisfying to carve tunnels and watch the dirt collapse behind you.
The music’s got that classic Game Boy bleep-bloop energy, and the levels get surprisingly tricky later on. Not gonna lie, I got stuck a few times figuring out the best paths to grab all the carrots without getting crushed. If you’re into retro puzzle-action hybrids, this one’s a neat little time-waster.
