Might and Magic II on SNES throws you right back into CRON, where that sneaky villain you thought you'd dealt with in the first game is back and causing chaos. The intro hits you with this ominous vibe—like, "Yeah, you thought you won last time? Think again."
You start with your same party from the first game (or you can roll new characters if you're feeling spicy), and the overworld map feels familiar but way more detailed. Those little SNES colors really pop compared to the original. First thing I did was wander into some random cave near the starting town and immediately got wrecked by bats—classic Might and Magic move.
The combat's still grid-based, but spells and weapons have this satisfying weight to them now. Found a fireball scroll early on and accidentally toasted my own fighter once. Good times.
