Mario Tennis Game

Mario Tennis on the Game Boy Color is one of those weirdly addictive sports games where you start thinking "just one match" and suddenly it's an hour later. The controls are simple—timing your swings is everything—but the AI actually puts up a decent fight even early on. Also, the little RPG-ish career mode where you train your character between matches? Way more fun than it has any right to be.
It’s got that classic GBC charm, too—bright colors, chunky sprites, and Mario characters with just enough personality to make a backhand slice feel satisfying. Don’t sleep on the doubles matches either; the chaos of four players crammed onto that tiny screen is hilarious.
